DP-HDTRX / Standalone SDR TRX
The new DP-HDTRX is ready!
Both the receiver and the transmit signal are breathtakingly
clean and large-signal resistant.
The DP-HDTRX is a true standalone transceiver that combines a
Hermes SDR board and an i5 Mini-ITX PC. The 7" touchscreen
display can be used as a display as well as for controlling
parameters. The most important control elements can also be
operated from the outside. In addition to the large VFO knob,
there are controls for the following functions:
Volume, Microphone Gain, Squelch, AGC Gain, Filter Bandwidth,
Notch Filter, RIT, Drive Power, Split and VFO-B.
Of course, the case is again self-designed and it comes up with a real look 'n feel of a TRX.
he PC part consists of an i5 quad core with 3GHz, Asus board, 256Gb mSSD, 16GB RAM and almost silent cooling. The internal 7" monitor can be expanded via DVI on the back of the DP-HDTRX and thus nothing stands in the way of a second monitor of any size. Due to the high performance you can now run software like Ham Radio Deluxe, CW Skimmer, Contest and Logbook software at the same time. If you now use a remote software like Teamviewer, there is nothing to stop you from remote operation in all modes.
Not only can the Hermes function as an SDR, but it is also good to use as a Spectrum Analyzer up to 62MHz and Vector Network Analyzer for simple measurements.
